About

I have over 15 years experience in Design, Marketing & Web Development. Many of my web and design skills are self taught and I am always learning and growing to change with new technology. I have attended art and design classes at The Art Institute of Atlanta as well as Emory University.

I spent my early years cutting & pasting ads together in St. Petersburg, Florida for “FOCUS” a local music magazine. During this time I also promoted local events such as Eat Magazine’s Martini Fashion Show in downtown St. Petersburg.  In ’95 my partner and I started a local events magazine and launched the graphic design company, “Creative Visions”.  We later merged with an ISP in Atlanta, where our services began to lean towards web development.

In 2003 I was hired as Art Director and Webmaster of Atlanta’s top 40 radio station, Star 94.  We were voted best website in 2004 and 2005 in the March of Dimes A.I.R. Awards.  In 2011 I created the http://www.creativeartprogram.org, bringing “at risk” children to work along side with local artists. The art program focused on encouraging children to envision their future through artistic expression.

I currently do freelance work for several companies located in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as all over the U.S.  Most recently I was selected as winner of the 2014 Mountain Winery Concert Series. I was also one of ten local artists selected for that year’s Power Box Contest.

My partner and I started a local art group called Alameda Artists, http://www.alamedaartists.com. Alameda Artists has quickly grown to over 1000 members. Artists can join for free at http://www.meetup.com/Alameda-Artists.

We currently hold art meetups, figure drawing sessions and group shows at Studio 23 and around the bay area.  Visit us online at http://studio23gallery.com.
